Family & Youth Program shares spirit of Christmas with teen, child clients
Lacey Redding, staff and volunteers with the LRCA’s Family and Youth Support Program are enjoying a very busy and exciting time this year as they see the magic of community spirit for their young (kids and teens) clients.
Her team and a number of volunteers are already making their special deliveries after a delightful wrapping campaign and gift selection process.
Lacey has marvellously documented the gift/toy drive experiences on her Instagram page at Lacey.LadysmithCares. (Lacey Redding (@lacey.ladysmithcares) • Instagram photos and videos)
There you will find about the generosity of her high school friend Tess and her mother, the support by colleague Child & Youth Care VIU student Brie, and more.
Ten Mala bracelets were donated to the Youth Support program by a young entrepreneur named Ava.
Read about the Perkins family as they lovingly put enough gifts together for 11 clients.
Find out about the amazing sponsors who make it all worthwhile.
There’s plenty of bagging and tagging, delivering, and spreading love and generosity right now!
