Concerts in the Park – Great summer ahead

Lineup of musicians for the 2023 edition of the LRCA Concerts in the Park fundraiser series is set and the anticipation of  great weather and appreciative crowds is very real.

• The Doctors of Rock 'n Roll return to launch the series on Sunday, July 9 at 6 p.m.
• Soul Shakers and their high-energy sounds are back on July 16.
• Glen Foster Group entertains on Aug. 13.
• Naden Navy Band is scheduled to captivate its audience on Aug. 27.

Not only children, but adults enthusiastically dance at the two-hour shows.

Volunteer coordinator Janis Beecroft is again engaging her team of volunteers for the halftime donation collection, and the response last year was overwhelming.

“The generosity was amazing," said Rick Rake, LRCA manager of communications and events.

A big thank you to last year's sponsors, and the new supporters will be displayed on the 2023 series banner at the amphitheatre in July.
