Extra mats at Rialto, Jameson lobby open to shield guests from the cold

LRCA Rialto shelter on First Avenue in Ladysmith is adding four extra sleeping mats tonight and over the next few days to help protect individuals from the cold.

Also, Frank Jameson Community Centre at 810 Sixth Avenue will serve as a safe place to come and get warm in the lobby during normal operating hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m Wednesday to Friday.

The Jameson Centre has not yet set up a designated warming centre/shelter at this point.
