Family Support Program
The Family Support Program is an intervention program designed to address familial stress and to reduce the requirement for child protection intervention in those families who have been approved by the Family & Youth Support Services Screening Committee.
This program operates on an outreach basis for youth between the ages of 13 to 18 who may be experiencing problems at home, in school, or are experiencing conflict in their lives.

Ladysmith Victim Services program has an office within the RCMP Detachment building, which is now located at 320 6th Avenue.
This is a community-based program utilizing the principle of CONFERENCING. It falls under the auspices of the provincial Ministry of Justice and the RCMP. An RCMP officer, on arresting a first offender of any age, can elect to refer the case to the Restorative Justice Program rather than to the court system.
